Ice Balloons!! Ice Balloons!!

by Cindy Rippe

Call me crazy, but I'm sooooooooo ready for it to cool down so I can make these cute, inexpensive ice sculptures! And when it does cool down, I'm headed to the party store to buy a bag of balloons and to the grocery store to get some red, blue, yellow and green food coloring!

If you have little ones or grandchildren, this would be a fun project to do together. Simply fill some balloons with water and add food coloring, then tie them up and set outside overnight. The next day after they are frozen, simply cut the balloons off and you have ice sculptures that look like giant marbles!! Use red and green for Christmas.  You can set them out in your yard for some unique holiday decor! They might look cool lined up along your sidewalk or driveway! So fun and whimsical!
