The Detroit Lions have hired their new head coach. They will introduce Jim Caldwell at a press conference later today. Caldwell was most recently Baltimore's offensive-coordinator and before that, head coach of the Colts. That leaves the Vikings and Browns still without a coach. Minnesota held a second interview with Bengals defensive-coordinator, Mike Zimmer yesterday but, have yet to officially offer him the job.  Although, that could come as early as today.

The Minnesota Wild got shutout by Ottawa 3-0 last night.

The Timberwolves try to get back to .500 when they host Sacramento tonight at Target Center.

Baseball gamers, rejoice!  R.B.I. Baseball is coming to a next-gen console near you. The classic game makes its return after a nearly twenty year hiatus.  Most details are still sketchy, but the Sega Genesis classic sounds as if it will be made available for both PlayStation and X-Box consoles.
