Alice In Chains new album comes in at #2

ALICE IN CHAINS have landed at #2 on The Billboard 200 chart their fifth studio album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, selling 62,000 copies in it's first week out in the US. The album managed to snag the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Rock Album chart, was overall at number 6 for iTunes, and also landed on the Canadian Album Chart at #2. ALICE IN CHAINS was last in the top two with its self-titled 1995 set, which debuted at number 1.

Behind Alice in Chains this week is the also-debuting John Fogerty, who’s "Wrote a Song for Everyone" came in at number 3 with 51,000. The new set features an all-star line up of guest artists duetting with Fogerty on his own classics like "Fortunate Son" (with Foo Fighters).
