The NBA has been sprinkling in their sleeved jerseys in several marquee games this year. Personally, I don't think they look bad but I can't stand wearing a jersey/shirt that has sleeves on it while playing basketball. I will admit when I was in high school I wanted to wear a sleeved shirt under my jersey. I was also 6'3, weighed 150 pounds and my arms were about the size of a spaghetti noodle. So I wasn't the most intimidating looking kid on the court.
The more I started shooting without sleeves, the more I liked it. I didn't have to worry about a shirt being grabbed or the sleeves sticking to me from all the sweat. So to put myself in the position of the guys in the NBA, it has to be driving them nuts to wear all these different jerseys. Every athlete has their own comfort level and it feels weird when your routine gets thrown off.
The NBA is going the sleeved route for the All-Star game which I am sure will be a problem with several of the people who are playing. Here is a video of the ones from Christmas.
