A pair of Atlanta pitchers and the Big Hurt are headed to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. Starting pitchers, Greg Maddox and Tom Glavine of the Braves and 1B/DH Frank Thomas all cleared the 75% threshold to become elected into the Hall. They will be joined by managers, Bobby Cox, Tony LaRussa and Joe Torre. Notable names not making the cut include The Iron Horse, Jack Morris, longtime Astro, Craig Biggio and a number of those associated with PEDs like Clemons, Bonds and McGwire.

2012's Heisman trophy winner, Johnny Football has officially declared for the NFL Draft. Texas A&M redshirt-sophomore quarterback, Johnny Manziel is projected to be a first round pick, perhaps even a top 5 selection in this April's draft.

The Timberwolves lost another tough one at Target Center last night. They fell to Phoenix 104-103. Minnesota is 0-10 in games decided by four points or less. They will look to rebound and get back .500 on the season when they host Charlotte tomorrow night.
