Seahawks cornerback, Richard Sherman has apologized for his rant with Erin Andrews following Seattle's victory over San Francisco in the NFC Championship game Sunday night. He blamed the loud atmosphere and the adrenaline coursing through his veins. He also went on to say that he doesn't want to be a villain because he's not a villainous person.
Not only did San Francisco lose that game, but 49er's linebacker, Navarro Bowman suffered a torn ACL and MCL. He hopes to be ready for next season.
NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell sat down with Rich Eisen of the NFL Network yesterday. They covered a lot of ground, but one of the topics that stood out was his thoughts on eliminating the extra-point. He said that the most promising proposal would have a team automatically get seven points for a touchdown. Teams could still elect to go for an eighth point on a conversion, but if they fail the touchdown would revert to only six points.
