Want some nice creamy smooth head on your beer? Bottling with nitrogen is the only way to get it. And Colorado's Left Handed Brewing wants to be the ONLY place you can get it in the states. They'd like to trademark the word "nitro" for their line of Nitro beers, bottled with nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide. Nitrogen is generally used to bottle stouts, most famously Guinness. It makes beer look all trippy like this:
Bigger brewers like Budweiser and Sam Adams are a little freaked out, arguing it would be like trying to trademark "refreshing."
