SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Prairie Christmas’ is back on the airwaves for the Christmas season. Jeff Gould, broadcaster and storyteller, has hosted the program for 18 years. He says his job is to play the songs that hold special Christmas memories as well as give listeners a favorite story or a new one to go along with those songs.
Gould also takes his storytelling on the road to seven different locations across the region with A Prairie Christmas-On Stage. He says the idea of the show is to make people feel like a kid at Christmas again. Gould calls radio a more intimate one on one setting where you picture the person you’re talking to and see them smile in your mind. On stage, there’s the power of the group. He refers to both as magic.
