Osbourne Family Denies Ozzy/Sharon Split

The Osbourne family is strongly refuting reports that Ozzy and his wife/manager, Sharon , have separated.

TMZ.com and the U.K. newspaper The Daily Mirror both claimed on Monday that the couple had split; the former stated that Sharon is staying at a hotel. However, Ozzy, commenting on his effort to stay sober, has posted onto Facebook , "Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person."

The comment was posted several hours after his son Jack had tweeted , "...it's all b******t. Last time I check[ed] a lot of British newspapers weren't amazing sources of accurate information."

In addition, the New York Post quotes the following comment from Sharon's rep: "They've both got huge work commitments. She is at the hotel for work and he is starting his Black Sabbath tour...Sharon and Ozzy have spent long periods of time apart before when she was working in the U.K. The marriage is not on the rocks." Sharon Osbourne is currently a co-host on the CBS daytime talk show, The Talk .

TMZ had reported that multiple sources told the website the couple is no longer living together. The sources claimed Ozzy has rented a house several miles from the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Sharon purportedly is staying.

Furthermore, the Daily Mirror posted recent photos of Sharon apparently moving her belongings into a new home in the Beverly Hills area.  A source close to the Osbournes told the paper that financial problems, including an unpaid tax bill, are behind the alleged split.

The U.K.'s Daily Mail has published recent pics of both Ozzy and Sharon without their wedding rings.

The couple has three children: Jack and daughters Kelly and Aimee .
