The Black Crowes Announce Expansive New US Tour Leg

The Black Crowes just launched a month-long co-headlining tour the Tedeschi Trucks Band on Friday in Nashville, but the band has plenty more concert action in store for fans later in the year.

The Crowes have unveiled a new U.S. leg of their Lay Down with Number 13 trek that's scheduled from a September 5 concert in Cooperstown, New York, through a December 14 performance in San Francisco.  Among the newly-announced shows are multiple-night stands in New Orleans, Denver and Los Angeles.  The band's upcoming itinerary also includes performances at the Gathering of the Vibes, the Lake Champlain Maritme Festival, The Allman Brothers Band 's second annual Peach Music Festival, and the inaugural Interlocken Festival.
