As expected, Alice in Chains ’ The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here debuted at the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, with 61,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here marks the band’s fifth album to visit the top 10, and is the group’s highest-charting album since their 1995 self-titled release, which debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200 its first week out. The band’s previous album, 2009’s Black Gives Way to Blue , debuted and peaked at #5 on the tally, with 126,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Despite the successful sales week for The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here , the release wasn’t strong enough to defeat Daft Punk ’s Random Access Memories , which remains at #1 on the tally for a second week with 93,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Meanwhile, John Fogerty ’s Wrote a Song for Everyone , which features guest appearances from Foo Fighters , Kid Rock , Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello , and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James , debuted at #3 on the list with 51,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
