Five Finger Death Punch ’s upcoming double album, The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell , will feature contributions from a number of special guest stars. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory says that while we can expect both albums to include some unique collaborations, he’s only willing to tell us about the singers involved on the release’s first installment.
“The first single [“Lift Me Up”] was featuring Rob Halford and that was an amazing experience...and we have [ Soulfly frontman] Max Cavalera [and] Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed [on The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1 ],” he tells U.K. magazine Kerrang! in a video interview. “We have [singer] Maria Brink from In This Moment and then we have Tech N9ne , who is a rapper. That’s the guests on that one, and on the second record we will reveal that when the time comes, but you know we have some good ones on that [album as well].”
The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1 will arrive at all the usual outlets on July 30 and will be available in a variety of formats, including standard and deluxe digital versions and a limited-edition box set. The second installment of the album will be released sometime in the fall.
