For months now, Courtney Love has been talking about releasing some new music. Now, the singer has revealed that we can expect two new cuts to arrive in stores sometime in December.
“[The first track is] called ‘Wedding Day’...and then the B-side is called ‘California,’ which, if you're gonna call a song 'California,' you better know it's f**king good, and it is,” she tells Rolling Stone .
The singer adds that while she’s been working on a number of songs for the follow-up to her 2004 debut solo album, America’s Sweetheart , she’s only happy with a few of them so far. “There are two other songs that are excellent out of the 12 we've recorded,” she explains. “So four songs so far, but I'm really picky, and I need an impeccable record at this point. We can do it really quick, so probably after this tour we'll start recording.”
Love is currently trekking across North America on her I'm Still Alive Tour, where she promises to play a collection of career-spanning tracks, rarities and “really cool covers.”
