Washington DC (KELO-AM) South Dakota Republican Senator John Thune gave four Pinocchios to the Obama Administration Wednesday for saying, without qualificaton, that people could keep their health care plans if they were satisfied with them.
At Senate hearings on Obamacare, Thune blasted Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius for being part of misleading the public. He called it a "dishonest mistake." He said that the Administration should just admit it made a mistake. The Administration is now saying that people could keep their plans if they are grandfathered.
South Dakota Democratic Senator Tim Johnson is defending the Affordable Health Care Act, saying that, ultimately, it will mean better health care coverage for the public.
