Sioux Falls S.D. (KELO AM) - In case you missed the count down at midnight, you may be waking up to hearing country music on 92.5 FM and KELO-FM music on 101.9. In a histoic South Dakota broadcasting event and after a lot of research, the two stations swaped signals.
"We surveyed the public and learned that there are listeners who prefer country music living out in the rural areas while the KELO-FM listeners are mainly in Sioux Falls and surrounding metro," said Tom Gjerdrum, Operations Manager. "It made a lot of sense to switch the signals and better serve more our listening community with the programming they desire."
Gjerdrum said that although both stations have a new home on the air, the programming is going to remain the same. We also welcome new listeners to KTWB-FM who may have not receceived our signal prior to today.
