SIOUX FALLS, SD (KWSN) – Ballpark Digest, a leading baseball industry and fan website, praised the Sioux Falls Canaries on Wednesday with an honorable mention in the 2013 Logo/Branding of the Year award category.
After three years under the Pheasants moniker, the Canaries returned this year to their original name and prior logo while introducing new alternate logos.
“We’re grateful for the recognition, because it reflects the tremendous support we received from our fans,” said Canaries CEO/President Tom Garrity, whose club saw a 26 percent increase in attendance from 2012 and the highest total attendance in team history. “A lot of credit for the success this year goes to our outstanding corporate sponsors and a dedicated staff.”
The Canaries alternate logos were designed by Fresh Produce of Sioux Falls.
