Pierre, SD (KELO-AM) It is the first debate with all five Republican candidates for the U-S Senate in South Dakota.
The debate is set for Saturday morning in Pierre at the annual convention of the South Dakota Newspaper Association at the Ramkota Hotel. The public is invited but seating is limited.
The Association's General Manager Dave Bordewyk says a panel of three journalists will fire the questions at the candidates, in a 90-minute debate he expects will be wide-ranging.
Stace Nelson, Larry Rhoden, Annette Bosworth and Jason Ravnsborg will be trying to close the gap with Republican frontrunner, Mike Rounds.
