South Dakota State Fair Tickets Still Available

HURON, SD (KELO AM) – The 2014 South Dakota State Fair is just around the corner. Fair goers are reminded that any grandstand tickets purchased by Wednesday, Aug. 27 will include free gate admission. Tickets purchased on or after Aug. 28 will not include gate admission.

Tickets are still available for all of the grandstand acts at this year’s Fair. The Red Wilk Construction CBR Bull Bash will take place Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Music starts Friday with Legend Seeds welcoming ALABAMA and guest Chancey Williams & the Younger Brothers Band. Saturday, the Fair Welcomes the Josh Abbott Band with Stoney LaRue and Aaron Watson. On Sunday, Boston and guest Kory & the Fireflies will take the stage. Monster Trucks and the Soccer Ball Demo Derby will wrap it up on Monday afternoon.

“We are excited to welcome all of these acts to our grandstand stage this year,” said State Fair Manager, Jerome Hertel. “Offering free gate admission on tickets sold before the fair gives fairgoers an excellent opportunity to save money.”

Tickets can be purchased at www.sdstatefair.com, the ticket office at the SD State Fair grandstand, or by calling (866) 605-3247. Tickets purchased online during the State Fair will be available for pick up at the will call window under the grandstand.

The 2014 South Dakota State Fair will run from Thursday, Aug. 28, through Monday, Sept. 1. Channel Seeds preview night will be Wednesday, Aug. 27.
