A new teaser trailer has premiered online offering a short preview of the forthcoming reissue of Led Zeppelin 's classic 1971 album, Led Zeppelin IV .  The clip, which runs for a minute and seven seconds, features an early mix of "Black Dog" that will be appear on the bonus "companion audio" disc included in the deluxe versions of the release.

The promo video also features footage of Led Zeppelin performing in concert, and glimpses of different images from the package, including the cover art, vintage concert posters and gig announcements and photos of the band members.  You can watch the trailer at Led Zeppelin's official website and YouTube channel .

The remastered Led Zeppelin IV packages will be released on October 28 as part of the second installment the band's reissue campaign.  Revamped versions of the group 1973 album Houses of the Holy also will hit stores the same day.

In other Led Zeppelin-related news, Robert Plant has joined the droves of celebrities who have taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. A video clip, which can be viewed on Robert's YouTube channel , shows the rock legend standing in a nicely landscaped yard or park, ringing a little green bell.  Plant reveals that he was nominated by British comedy group Kiddy Lad , and then calls on "Sir Elton John , Sir Tom Jones , Sir Paul McCartney and my favorite commoner, Peter Gabriel " to take the challenge also.  He adds, "Come on lads, get wet.  Please don't forget to donate," before two men empty buckets of ice water over his curly locks.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge calls for nominated participants to pour ice water over their heads within a day or two or donate $100 to help find a cure for ALS, the progressive degenerative nerve disease commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.  As of Friday, more than $100 million has been raised by this year's campaign.
