Stone Temple Pilots have canceled their upcoming shows in Australia, the Middle East and Hawaii.
A statement posted to the band's Facebook account blames "an unforeseen scheduling conflict." However, the message goes on to say, "An initial statement citing 'recording delays' wasn't true -- the conflict wasn't related to recording new STP material. We are deeply disappointed to not be able to perform these shows, and look forward to making them up in the future."
Back in October, STP guitarist Dean DeLeo said the band was working on material with new lead singer Chester Bennington of Linkin Park for a follow up to the High Rise EP released that month.
