Undated (KELO-AM) Mike Rounds was the easy winner of the five-way Republican U-S Senate Primary in South Dakota. He says he looks forward to debating Obamacare and other issues with Democrat Rick Weiland and Independents Larry Pressler and Gordon Howie in the Fall.
Governor Dennis Daugaard coasted to victory in the Republican Gubenatorial Primary over Lora Hubbell. Hubbell says she fears for South Dakota because Daugaard is not conservative enough.
Daugaard says he looks forward to debating the issues with Susan Wismer, who made history in beating Joe Lowe in the Democratic Gubenatorial Primary. It's the first time a woman has won a gubenatorial primary in South Dakota. Wismer calls her upcoming battle with Daugaard 'David and Goliath'.
