Wagner, SD (KELO AM) – A Wagner man has been sentenced to just over 7 years in prision for operating a meth house in the southern Charles Mix County community.
According to the sentence handed down by judge Karen E Schrier, Jeffery Irving must serve 87 months in prison and three years of supervised release for his role in maintaining a drug-involved premise and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Irving was indicted along with four other people on those charges in December of last year. He pled guilty to the charges back in March, the conspiracy charges were then dropped.
The FBI, South Dakota DCI, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Charles Mix County Sherriff’s Office all investigated the case. Irving is expected to report to the US Marshals by the end of the month.
