KISS and Def Leppard Announce Joint Summer Tour

KISS  and  Def Leppard  called a press conference Monday to unveil plans for a joint summer tour. The two bands convened in Los Angeles and announced the plan via a live stream on  Live Nation's website

The tour will kick off on June 23 in West Valley City, Utah, and currently is mapped out through a August 31 show in The Woodlands, Texas. 

One dollar from each ticket sold will benefit a variety of military charities, and military personnel will have access to discounted tour tickets.

KISS will be the closing band on all dates. The tour could extend internationally, but as of right now only North American dates are confirmed.

KISS and Def Leppard have combined album sales of more than 200 million.
