By now you've probably heard that Metallica debuted a new song -- called "Lords of Summer" -- at their South American shows.  A tech-savvy fan has spent some hours digitally mixing footage from fan-shot videos of the band's show on Sunday in Bogota, Colombia. The result is a 10-camera video montage of the tune, which is now available on  YouTube

The finished product features a wide variety of visual perspectives with audio that's not quite soundboard quality, but pretty good for audio from fan-shot video.

"Lords of Summer" -- at least this version -- is just over eight minutes long.

Metallica's South American "By Request" tour will last through March 30.  Besides this new song, the set list is entirely selected by fans.
