Sioux Falls, SD (KWSN) -The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Loria as Director of Corporate Sales.
Loria is a familiar name in Sioux Falls Sports. He served as the president of the Sioux Falls Stampede from 1998 to 2012. Loria was also the president of the Sioux Falls Pheasants (now Canaries) from 2010 to 2011. In Loria’s time, both organizations corporate sponsorships and corporate ticket sales flourished.
“After meeting with Jim, it became obvious what a talent he is. He has an absolute passion for sports and is well qualified to take care of many of our corporate relationships. We’re very excited to have Jim on board”, stated Storm owner, Todd Tryon “The future of our Storm franchise looks as bright as ever and adding Jim to our team is a giant step in the right direction.”
Loria has been involved in minor league sports since 1977. He started as an Office manager in the Western Canada Jr. Hockey League and followed his calling through places like Spokane, Saskatchewan, Washington D.C., Kansas City, and Raleigh, NC. Jim finally landed in Sioux Falls in 1998 as the president of the Sioux Falls Stampede. Jim parted ways with Stampede ownership in 2013.
Loria spent part of 2014 working in corporate fleet sales for Sioux Falls Ford. Loria will head up sponsorship relations, corporate sales and corporate ticket sales for the Sioux Falls Storm effective immediately.
