This is the time of year when high school kids confirm their college acceptances and nail down where they'll be going next year. Courtney Love seems to be feeling like a teenager again -- the singer reveals that she thought this week about attending college. The singer tells the U.K.'s The Guardian , "Yesterday I was thinking about trying to get in to Oxford or Cambridge...but I couldn't pick a major." Love says she'd sign up not just for the academic stimulation but also "to just disappear for four years and study."
Love also says she had a roll in the hay with a another woman a month or so ago, "I won't tell you who she is though, because she's public," the singer teased. "She's a little bi, mostly lesbian." Although she has publicly stated that she's sober, Love tells the Guardian that she and her unnamed female lover "took Molly [MDMA], but it didn't work."
Fans lucky enough to see Courtney Love's Shepherds Bush Empire shows this weekend in London -- or to catch them afterward on YouTube -- should be on the lookout for a cover of the Boomtown Rats ' hit, "I Don't Like Mondays," dedicated to Rats singer Sir Bob Geldof in tribute of his daughter Peaches Geldof , who recently died of a suspected heroin overdose. Love says in the Guardian interview that she's considering performing the song.
