SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls-based Company has developed a device that can provide a lightening-fast diagnosis of COVID-19.
Highgate’s Feisal Mosleh says it usually takes a doctor about 10 minutes to read a CT scan of the lungs for COVID damage. The company’s new Lung Analyser software does it in a fraction of the time.
“Within ten seconds, within ten to 15 seconds, give or take, with an accuracy of 95 percent….”
The analyzer is built with Artificial Intelligence technology, so actually gets smarter and smarter the more it is used.
“The system starts off being fairly stupid, fairly dumb, and then you feed it data and it keeps making correlations between the different types of data.”
Mosleh says COVID-19 is just one of the many diseases Highgate’s new process can swiftly diagnose when CT scans are used.
Highgate is an AI-driven Cybersecurity company based in Sioux Falls.
