WASHINGTON (KELO.com) — Some Congressional leaders are pushing Vice President Mike Pence to initiate action on the Twenty-Fifth Amendment and remove President Trump from office.
That is in response to the mob invading the US Capitol earlier this week.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says that’s never been used.
Johnson says using the Amendment could create more divisions in the country when it needs to heal.
He says a challenge to the amendment could end up in Congress.
Johnson answered questions during a telephone town hall Thursday night.
