SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — An accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian has resulted in the death of a 24-year-old man late Saturday night.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says that the pedestrian was walking south along the northbound lane of Highway 115, about one mile west of Harrisburg.
The man was then struck by a 39-year-old driver of a Chevy Equinox.
When authorities arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Names have not yet been released, and charges are not pending against the driver of the vehicle.
