SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center reports that Nebraska and Minnesota are among the top ten states in the nation with the biggest surges by percentage of coronavirus cases.
Over the past week, Nebraska has had a 100% surge in cases, the worst percentage of increase in the nation.
It has an average of 671 new cases per day.
Minnesota is seeing a nearly 12% surge in cases over the last seven days.
It has an average of 1,412 new cases per day.
South Dakota ranked 31st with over a 16% decrease in COVID cases and an average of 214 daily cases.
