PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — Governor Kristi Noem took to social media this afternoon to share that her dog, Hazel, died over a week ago. Noem said an accident occurred and “I just couldn’t bring myself to post about it”. She paid tribute to Hazel by adding, “she was more than a dog to me…she was a dear dear friend…she loved me unconditionally and ALWAYS wanted to be with me….my heart is broken and our family will never be the same without you, sweet Hazel.”
