With a winter storm nearing, people are preparing

DELL RAPIDS, S.D. (KELO.com) — People are taking advantage of the nice day to prepare for the midweek weather. A nearly full parking lot at County Fair Food Store in Dell Rapids led to aisles filled with shoppers picking up essentials, batteries, baking supplies, and prescriptions in the event travel becomes difficult Wednesday and Thursday. One shopper said,  “After what we’ve seen so far this winter, it would be foolish to not be sure you have what you need on hand.” A Winter Storm Watch begins Tuesday night at midnight. Upgrades to warnings are likely.
