BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Two Sioux Falls men were arrested in Brookings County on forgery charges. 31-year-old Angelo High Pipe attempted to cash a forged check in Volga. High Pipe was arrested for possession of a forged instrument with intent to defraud, and possession of a controlled substance. Law enforcement also learned he had cashed a fraudulent check in Brookings earlier that day. During the investigation, 51-year-old Brian Ritter of Sioux Falls was also arrested after attempting to cash fraudulent checks in Brookings.
