RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — The maintenance manager at the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City is recovering from a gunshot wound he suffered Sunday morning. The shooting set off a search for the suspect – 58-year old John Lee. Lee traveled to the Oglala Sioux Reservation where Tribal Police located and confronted him. Lee shot and wounded a Tribal officer, but was killed as other officers returned fire.
