PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — After a bump upwards in case numbers Tuesday, South Dakota’s coronavirus cases were down again Wednesday.
The state department of health reports 99 new cases.
They also report three new deaths.
The state’s death toll is now 1,976.
Active cases are down 60 to 1,385.
Hospitalizations are down one to 102 patients.
Recovered cases continue toward 120,000.
The seven-day test positivity rate is just over 6%.
Over 55% of the state’s population has had at least one vaccination for the coronavirus.
Nearly 48% of the state is fully immunized.
