SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) A little town on the prairie is in the running to be voted a favorite historic small town. DeSmet, SD, made famous by writer Laura Ingalls Wilder in the “Little House” books is one of 20 finalists for USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Award for Best Historic Small Town.
DeSmet is currently ranked 6th.
You can vote for DeSmet once per day until Monday, October 25th at noon ET. The 10 winning small towns will be announced on Friday, November 5.
