PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — As Gov. Kristi Noem gives her budget address to a joint session of the South Dakota Legislature Tuesday afternoon, recent polling shows her with the support of over 60% of those polled.
In the late October poll of 500 registered voters, an average of 61.2% of respondents strongly or somewhat expressed approval of Noem’s performance across five topic areas.
That’s according to news partner South Dakota News Watch.
About 37% of overall respondents somewhat or strongly disapproved of Noem’s performance.
Only on her handling of marijuana issues did Noem not have a clear majority of support among voters.
