SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — While crews are working to clear up the highways and interstates today, the South Dakota Highway Patrol warns there are still plenty of scattered slippery spots to be found.
The patrol reminds the towing industry is also out cleaning up after yesterday’s snow storm. They ask drivers to be sure to give the tow trucks plenty of room on the roads as they retrieve vehicles from the ditches.
South Dakota law requires drivers traveling on an interstate or highway with more than two lanes to move over to the farthest lane of traffic when they come upon any stopped vehicle with flashing yellow lights.
