SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Stockton Kings 113-101 on Friday evening from the Sanford Pentagon in the first of four home games in seven days.
Sioux Falls moves to 5-1 this season when they win the rebounding battle.
Javonte Smart (31 points on 7-11 3PA and a career-high seven assists) has secured four-straight games of 20-plus points and five-plus three pointers made.
The Skyforce (5-10) won their fourth game this season when losing at halftime, as Stockton (8-7) held a 59-55 lead. Sioux Falls went on to outscore the Kings 58-42 in the second half to earn the victory.
Micah Potter (20 points on 9-12 FGA and five rebounds) secured his sixth-straight game of shooting 50-plus percent from the field. Mike Smith and Sam Thompson led off the bench with 25 points combined on 10-20 FGA.
All five Kings starters scored in double figures, with Matt Coleman III (17 points and 10 rebounds) and Emanuel Terry (17 points and seven rebounds) leading the way.
The Skyforce continue at home on Saturday as they look to sweep the season series against the Salt Lake City Stars (4-10). Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM CST. Stockton hosts the Texas Legends (6-7) on Tuesday at 9:00 PM CST.
