PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Pierre School District had no classes Tuesday so staff and administrators could go over the district’s COVID-19 response plan.
Tuesday, they postponed a number sports activities.
There are 120 active coronavirus cases in Hughes County.
The school board is also holding a special meeting. The board just met Monday.
The high school has also postponed homecoming until October 12.
Also, one hundred and five inmates or staff at the women’s prison have tested positive for the coronavirus.
There’s no word yet on if state offices will be reverting back to most of them working remotely again.
