HARRISBURG, S.D. (KELO.com) — School officials in Harrisburg are leaving it up to parents if their kids go to school this morning.
This message comes after an alert was issued by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office due to a home invasion, shots being fired and the suspect fleeing.
All buildings in the district will start the day by sheltering in place after the students are in the building.
Buses will run normally.
Absences will be excused for the day.
