PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The bird flu is getting an early start in South Dakota this fall. Over 100-thousand turkeys in Faulk and Beadle Counties have been infected, with two more flocks impacted but not yet listed. This year’s heavy rains and harvest activity are factors for the infection’s early arrival.
