PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota leaders are condemning political violence after yesterday’s assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk at a college event in Utah. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says there’s no place for political violence. Senator Mike Rounds and Congressman Dusty Johnson asked for prayer for Kirk’s family. The state Democratic party also condemned the shooting. Governor Larry Rhoden has ordered flags at half-staff statewide for Kirk.
