LifeScape who helps children with disabilities could lose funding

A rule change could mean an 80-percent funding cut for LifeScape. The nonprofit provides specialized therapy for children with disabilities.  This includes teaching them basic life functions like how to walk, talk, and eat. The Department of Social Services says the new rule updates Medicaid hospital reimbursements. A legislative committee will review the rule in October.
