Senator John Thune is putting some distance between himself and President Trump on a couple of issues. In Mitchell, he told reporters women should get advice on using Tylenol during pregnancy from doctors and science not politics. This was after President Trump linked pregnant women’s Tylenol use to autism. He also defended free speech in response to the Jimmy Kimmel situation, saying government should be cautious about interfering with what people say, even as broadcast rules are enforced.
