Trial for the man accused of killing a Moody County deputy won’t be help until September

Moody County, SD (KELO.com) — The trial of the man accused of killing Moody County Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorock, early last year, won’t be held until September. Judge Gregory Stoltenburg made that decision late last week, as he granted the defense request to move the trial out of Moody County. Joseph Hoek is accused of killing Prorock by intentionally swerving to hit him while being involved in a high-speed chase.
