The Federal Government shutdown has forced the lights off at Mt. Rushmore. Governor Larry Rhoden says he refuses “to let it’s light dim.” He announced over the weekend that his personal donation will fund the lights for the next seven days. Nearly a dozen other lawmakers plan to follow suit if the government shutdown continues.
