Rapid City, SD (KELO.com) — Sanford health’s plans to build a new hospital and medical campus in Rapid City may hurt Monument Health which is the existing Black Hills health provider. South Dakota News Watch quoted Monument’s CEO, Paulette Davidson, as saying the move would likely eliminate a 40-million-dollar annual payment Monument receives as the sole provider of medical services in the region. Leaders of both organizations say they’re hopeful they can work together to benefit the Black Hills region.
