SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Street racing and exhibition driving are on the rise again this spring in Sioux Falls. So are saturation patrols by area law enforcement. Saturation patrols were conducted over the last two weekends. Lt. Andrew Siebenborn says both were productive, with nearly 120 citations, including 7 DWIs. “If you’re driving at a high speed, if you’re racing, if you’re revving your engine in downtown Sioux Falls, or other parts of Sioux Falls, it’s going to get expensive if you get an exhibition citation.” Lt. Siebenborn says several more saturation patrols are being planned.
