PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Attorney General Marty Jackley says South Dakota will seek further review of an Appeals Court ruling that prohibits the state from enforcing a new election law.
The law moved the election-year filing deadline for ballot question petitions to nine months but was the subject of a lawsuit filed by Dakotans for Health.
The group argued it reduced the petition gathering season by three months.
